At the 37th Secretary-General Meeting of the China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA) held from January 8th to 11th, Xu Wenying, Vice President and Secretary-General of CRIA, delivered a report titled 2018 Work Summary and 2019 Work Arrangements.
Organizing overseas 考察 (inspections) for enterprises to observe and learn advanced foreign technologies and management experience
Observing and learning from the experience of foreign advanced enterprises and new product exhibitions is an effective means to improve the technical, quality, and management levels of domestic enterprises. In 2019, the Association will continue to organize overseas 考察 activities, planning business trips to Taiwan (China), Germany, and Japan.
Conducting research on member enterprises' needs and carrying out diversified training services
Although the Association already provides training services, overall activities are limited and forms are single. In the new year, the Association will widely survey enterprise needs to offer multi-level and diverse training services for the industry.
Giving play to the role of industry self-discipline conventions
Sort out, standardize, and improve the self-discipline conventions of various industries within the Association, and vigorously publicize model enterprises through conferences, publications, websites, and other media.
Paying attention to market low-price vicious competition incidents
Continuing to do a good job in the registration and issuance of China Tire Labels, increasing the promotion of registered enterprises' product brands to enable registered enterprises to obtain tangible benefits, and letting tire labels play a role in guiding consumers to make rational purchases. As the number of registered enterprises and labels issued increases, the Association should earnestly fulfill its supervisory responsibilities, timely compile and release quality reports, respond quickly to market adverse reactions, and gradually improve emergency work plans, so as to promote the upgrading of the tire industry through this work.
Calling on the industry to focus on environmental protection, green development, and quality improvement.
Assessing the completion of the rubber industry's "13th Five-Year Plan" and launching the formulation of the "14th Five-Year Plan".
